• When fitting the glass to the poles, it is recommended to leave a 100mm gap at the bottom for optimal installation.

Stainless Steel Pole Specifications:

Choose from either 304 grade or 316 grade type poles.
304 grade poles are used most applications, if you live within 10 miles of the ocean, you should buy 316 grade poles.

• Diameter: The poles have a diameter of 42mm, offering sturdy support and a modern appearance.
• Height: Complying with building regulations, the poles have a height of 1100mm.
• Highest Quality 316 Stainless Steel: Crafted from the best grade of stainless steel (316), these poles are highly resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for areas exposed to sea spray or other corrosive environments.

INSTALLATION AND PURCHASING NOTES

Glass Size Calculation:
Learn how to accurately calculate the size of your glass panels for your balustrade installation.

- Ensure you add 85mm to the width between each glass panel where the balustrade will be positioned. For instance, if you have two 800mm x 800mm glass panels with two end balustrades and one centre joining balustrade, the required space would be 1855mm (85mm End Balustrade + 800mm Glazed Panel + 85mm Center Balustrade + 800mm Glazed Panel + 85mm End Balustrade). 

- The 85mm measurement accounts for the 42mm Balustrade diameter and 21.5mm on each side for the base of each clamp, which also creates the gap between the glass panels and the balustrade.

- The End Balustrades also require 85mm due to the base plate.

Installation Notes:

To ensure a secure installation, it is crucial to fix the balustrade to a solid foundation. We recommend a minimum fixing depth of 100mm for each post.

- Place all posts in your desired positions, leaving at least a 100mm gap from any ledges.

- When securing the balustrade, use a minimum of 2 out of the 4 fixing holes found on the base plates.

- Allow sufficient time for the resin to set before proceeding with the installation of the glass panels.

*Please note that power tools should not be used to tighten glass clamps or covers.

Glass Panels and Accessories:

Please be aware that glass panels do not come with poles or clamps as standard.
